Breathtaking. Every time I see that particular glow of evening light that painters call "Magic Hour" I think of Terence Malick and Days of Heaven.

@Mike: Weird. Had a customer today chasing a copy of Big Night, which I'd never heard of. And there it is, at number nine on Salon's list of the most expert scenes in cinema... (Meanwhile, Mohicans as Mann's "most perfect film"? Really? Thing hasn't aged so hot... AND: What the shit is The Parallax View? Cumbersome title puts me in mind of the upcoming The Adjustment Bureau...)
